A great article, here on exactly what the keys to getting that NROTC scholarship are. I wish I had known all of this when I was 12. At that stage, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life or how to get there except that it had to do with aircraft (and space capsules). A little more understanding of what it was going to take to achieve those very loose and lofty goals would have made a difference in some of the decisions that I made growing up.
