What a difference a day makes. Mostly cloudy, warm, little to no wind. Picked up a sunburn in all the clouds. Good day to be shooting, and the results were worth it.
I do need to pick up a better spotting scope to work with, and stand to go with it if I am going to be shooting at these distances. I also need to work on ranging targets at unknown distances. My goals for next time I am out here.
Still any day out of the office, and out in undeveloped country is a winner. So, the day was already a success.
BTW, I did hit the first boomer of the day today. One shot, one explosion. It took me two shots a piece on the 3 inch targets (@ 375). Still 3 booms / 5 shots, room to improve but no complaints from me.
