Well for those that are still following the construction saga of the Broadsword, we have been hung up on the Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) for a few weeks now. Supply chains being what they are, there is little that can be done to influence that part of the manufacturing schedule. Gundoc had been told that he should have it last week but, I haven’t gotten an update in a couple of days so I suspect it is still hung up. When you are talking about a piece of machinery that you are going to lay your face along side, as a controlled and directed explosion takes place to propel a small piece of metal down a tube, 180 degrees away from your face, as the bolt carrier group slides back toward your face at a high velocity and flings the remains of the cartridge elsewhere, it’s ok that it takes some time to get it right.
