Now, I love aviation. Always have, always will. I also love You Tube, and one of the things that shows up regularly is video of low passes in tactical aircraft. Having been “buzzed” by a BUFF (B-52) during a terrain following pass, and by “wild weasels” that spoofed our tracking gear I can tell you it is a frightening thrill.
However, when you are making a low pass your goal should NOT be to tie the low altitude record. This is about as close as I have seen someone come to it, without leaving itty bitty pieces behind.
