It appears that I am in one of “those moods” today. As the election cycle is ramping up I wonder where exactly this Republic has lost it’s courage. We see daily examples of where the values and courage of our citizens remains stalwart and steadfast, yet it seems as if our leadership has abdicated their duties. At the same time I find historical precedent, that we have faced similar hardships in the past, it is the nature of the system of government that we run that there will be many different courses to chart for that is the essence of freedom.
