Have you ever wondered….

…what is like to be bitten by a Black Widow spider?  I have to say, I never did.  I have had a few brushes with them, and came entirely too close to sticking my hand into an occupied black widow web one day but wondering about the effects of the venom never crossed my mind.

Over in the NY Times, there is a good piece about one individual’s experience though.  Give it a read, and think about that situation.  Then make sure that you shake out your shoe before you put it on.
