Volkswagen is unveiling the 2011 Jetta today. Now, it’s not really the car for me. It does not suit my lifestyle or needs. So, why am I writing about it?
Well, as I was walking to work this morning they were getting setup for the unveiling in Times Square. Sound checks at 0715 always get my attention. Seeing the back stage preparations required to pull off something like this is always fascinating to me.
The one and only thing that I will miss about working in NYC when I finish this gig is all of the media productions. It is always surreal to be having breakfast and seeing a “live shot” on CNN or Fox or …. and then walking downstairs and seeing the same live shot, in person.
