One of the best things about the internet, and You Tube is the wealth of creativity that it has enabled. The creativity has always existed but shooting a short in 8 or 16mm and then having to develop and print the film, and edit it. Then find a way to distribute it through a variety of independent film festivals always presented a barrier to entry that many were unable to overcome. As a result, technology and this world wide web presents new outlets for the creative types.
