If you missed The Pacific on HBO, the have released it on DVD. Historically, a lot has been written and produced about the war in Europe. The Pacific campaign was an entirely different world. Island hopping, jungles, malaria, amphibious landings it created it’s own world and really it’s own levels of hell for the men and women that were there. As a result, the Pacific holds a very high regard in the history of The Corps.
