Over at Doc Russia’s site, the Marine turned ER doc has been teasing us for months with the prospect of meeting Vera. Finally he has introduced us. I have to say that it appears that he has done a fine job with the introductions. Not only has he introduced us to her but he has introduced me to 6.5 Grendel. What appears to be a nice long range cartridge with less recoil than a .308 Win or 7.62 NATO.
I’m still trying to figure out how to resurrect my long range skills. Step 1: Find a range where I can work at long range in rifle calibers. Step 2: Find the right rifle and cartridge. Step 3: Resurrect the skills. Step 4: BOOMERSHOOT.
