Details are coming out on the new Strike Eagle from Vortex. As you may recall Vortex and Leupold are the two optics manufacturers that I go to. I have found their quality, and customer service to be exceptional. Couple that with reasonable pricing and robust feature sets, and I have found my vendors of choice.
Now, if I had the cash I would likely loop US Optic, Nightforce, and maybe Zeiss into the list.
The new Strike Eagle has a very aggressive price point. Particularly in comparison to the Razor HD Gen II that I have been saving my pennies for. While the release date for the Strike Eagle looks to be this summer, hopefully we will get some early feedback from some test and evaluation units to see how they compare.
Now I am beginning to wish that I had carved out time and budget to go to SHOT show to see one of these in person.
